Wheatgrass is great source of vitamins and minerals necessary for our organism. It contains over 100 beneficial elements which have positive effects on our whole organism. It contains ingredients such as vitamins A, B, C and E, chlorophyll, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron and many others.
Juice from wheatgrass will strengthen the immune system, increase the energy, purify the blood, help when it comes to insomnia, remove gastric upsets etc.
Method of preparation:
Above all, it is best if the wheatgrass is planted by yourselves at your home. Use environmentally friendly seed if you are going to do this.
Put little bit of seeds in a bowl, add some water and wait 10 hours. Drain the seeds and leave it in the bowl for the next 24 hours. Make sure you water it once in a while and immediately strain it.
Because of the moisture, wheatgrass will quickly begin to sprouts. When you notice the germ, put the grains in a container in which you put little bit of soil. Pour little bit of water every day.
You can put the green parts in blender when it reaches 20 cm in height.
The resulting liquid is the one that cleanses the organism. Drink 30 ml of this beverage on a daily basis.
If you do not want to drink this juice, you can consume the green parts as an additions to salads or in combination with fruit.
