How To Prepare Healthful And Refreshing Juice Of Mint

Summer comes and with it the long and hot days. So at this time of the year what we need most is one refreshing drink that will cool us.

Juice from mint is number one when it comes to refreshing drink.

We present you Indian recipe for mint juice:

  • ½ cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon cumin in powder
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • Pinch of black salt
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 3 cups of water

First, wash the leaves from mint. Place them in blender and add the remaining ingredients and water less than half a cup. Mix until you get mixture like paste. Then, add the remained amount of water and mix for a little longer until the ingredients unite. In the end, strain through strainer if you want but it is not necessarily.

If you make larger quantity of this juice, store it in refrigerator but before use you must shake it. Also, if you like this juice can be served with ice cubes for extra cooling.

This juice despite being incredibly refreshing and cooling also stimulates appetite and the ingredients from which is made are excellent for digestion. The lemon juice enriches the flavor and allows juice from mint to keep its green color despite the fact that it is stored in refrigerator until the next day.

If you are not fan of spicy food, there is another simpler recipe for mint juice:
