American Academy of Ophthalmology recommends that anyone over the age of 40 years should make a basic eye examination because they can potentially discover a variety of health problems.

1. Stress

6. Diabetes

A simple look at the eyes can draw attention to diabetes. High blood sugar levels can be recognized in the eyes in the form of the well known symptoms – weakening of the blood vessels in the retina, leading to slow vision loss.

According to a research, conducted in 2013, people who suffer from bipolar disorder or schizophrenia see the world around them differently – their look retains more or less at a certain things.
