Many things can spoil the perfect morning. Some things we cannot influence on, such as traffic or rain, but there are things that simply we are responsible for. Try to change some morning habits in order for your day to be good and to be filled with more energy.
Your breakfast is too modest
A handful of fruit mixed with yogurt sounds like a healthy meal, but will keep you satiated until lunch. This breakfast lacks some nutrients that are needed for proper operation of the organism. The ideal breakfast should consist 15 grams of protein, 2.5 grams of fiber, carbohydrates and a little healthy fat.
You drink coffee way too early
Is there a bad time to drink coffee? Certainly there is. As soon as you wake up in the morning, the level of energy grows, so coffee can add additional energy because of which you may be nervous. The best time to drink coffee in the morning is an hour after waking up. The level of energy then begins to decline, so the coffee will help to keep high energy level until afternoon.
As soon as you open your eyes, you check mail and messages
It is an ugly habit that should forget as soon as possible. Checking messages once you open your eyes is the quickest way to the stress of the day. Instead of immediately thinking of work, start the day with activities that relax you: exercise, talk with friends, play with a pet etc. This way you will be more creative and productive, and as such, you will be and more valued at work.
