Nobody wants to go to a doctor, but sometimes it is good to check your overall health, especially if your body sends you signal that some parts of the body do not function properly.
1. You lose weight even though you are not on a diet
If you abruptly lose 5 to 10 kg of your body weight, visit a doctor because such weight loss is a sign that something is wrong with your body.
Hormonal imbalance, diabetes, hyperthyreosis and many other diseases can be a sign of unexplained weight loss..
2. High body temperature
Body temperature is usually a sign that your body fights certain infections or there is some inflammatory process going on in the body. You must visit a doctor if you cannot lower the temperature after 3 days and if you have more than 38 degrees accompanied by rash, headache and neck pain.
3. Shortness of breath
It is perfectly normal to feel shortness of breath due to some physical activities, exhaustion or similar situations.
But if you feel shortness of breath while resting you must immediately visit a doctor.
4. Muscle pain
Pain in the muscles is normal and expected after heavy physical activities or exercise. But if it appears in the moments when you are inactive or have not had a difficult physical effort, it is time to visit a doctor. Unexplained muscle pain can be a sign of some internal inflammation.
5. Long-term abdominal pain
Abdominal pain can be caused by a number of factors, digestive system related problems, stomach ulcers, severe constipation, infection and other health problems. If pain persists without stopping for more than 3 days or if it is in combination with nausea and vomiting you must see a doctor.
6. Dark stool
Urine can be dark due to consumption of certain red and green fruits and vegetables you have eaten. You should be calm if you have eaten beets, blueberries or similar fruits and/or vegetables in such situations.
However, in case you did not consume ingredients that change color of the stool, and yet it is noticeable red or dark, pay your doctor a visit because you might be dealing with stomach ulcer.
