Healing properties of rose are known for longer period of time. There are records which testify for its medicinal properties and use found in Egypt, India and China. Here are few medicinal recipes from rose which you can do them at home:
Tea from rose
Pour 3dl. of boiled water on 2 tablespoons of dried petals of rose. Leave the container for 10 minutes. This tea purifies the blood and helps in diseases of liver and gall bladder as well as problems with digestion of food. The tea helps to all those who have destroyed the intestinal flora due to overdose of antibiotics. Successfully relieves inflammation or fungal infection of the oral cavity and can be used for rinsing the throat.
Pour ½ liter of boiled water on 2 handfuls of rose petals and then leave it covered for 24 hours. Strain it and heat it along with 250gr of sugar and when the sugar is melted add the juice of one lemon and boil it for another 5 minutes. For lung diseases it should be consumed 2- 3 tablespoons of the syrup daily.
Water for massage
Place leaves into water and leave them soaked inside it for 10 days. The water in which the petals were, should be used for massage in case of rheumatism, as coating in case of goat, dandruff of hair and eliminating acne as replacement for tonic.
Rose in olive oil
It is prepared on the same way as the oil from St John’s worth. Leave the petals of rose for a month in oil and then strain the oil and store it in a glass bottle. It should be used for wounds which are difficult to heal, burns and cracked skin.
