During the holidays the festive table is rich in fatty foods, lots of candy and cookies. Even though we know these foods are not an ally for our digestive organs, we still consume it. While we enjoy the beautiful taste of the food, out digestive system is having trouble digesting the food. In order to speed the work of the digestive organs, we offer three recipes that will activate it within 15-30 minutes.
1. Olive oil in combination with lemon
Drink a tablespoon of olive oil with little bit of lemon juice. It is best to be consumed in the morning or a few hours after a meal. This is a home remedy that will quickly activate the digestive organs.
Squeeze the juice of one lemon in a glass of warm water. Drink this mixture. You can drink this beverage as a preventive in order to prevent difficulties during digestion process.
3. Baking soda with lukewarm water
Put half a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of lukewarm water. This combination is well known because many people use it in order to soothe bad digestion. Remember to use only pharmaceutical soda which can be found in all pharmacies.
This recipe is not recommendable for those who have stomach ulcer.
Also, do not forget about other healthy ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, water and whole grain cereals which you need to enter in your organism on a daily basis.
